Farewell Pages hosts a fast, private memorial page for a person who has passed. This page answers the most common questions from families and visitors. If you still need help, we are one email away.
Open the memorial and tap Participate (or the tribute prompt on the home screen), then Leave a Tribute. Write your message and, if you wish, your name and relationship. You can also post anonymously. Your message is sent privately to the family for review and only appears publicly once they approve it.
How do I share pictures or videos?
Tap Participate → Share Photos & Videos, then choose photos or a short video from your phone. Uploads go to the family for review and appear in the public gallery only after they approve them. You do not need an account.
How do I contact the family?
If the family has chosen to share contact details, tap Participate → Family & Committee. There you can call, text, WhatsApp, email, or copy the number for an approved family contact or committee. If no contact appears, the family has kept this private.
How do I find the service times and venue?
Tap the Schedule or Programme tab. Each event expands to show the time, venue, and order of service. Use Open map for directions or Copy address to paste the venue elsewhere.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The memorial works in any mobile browser. If you visit often, your browser may offer Add to Home Screen for one-tap access — this is optional.
For families & organizers
How do I review and approve tributes and photos?
Sign in and open your memorial dashboard. Under Review you will see everything visitors have submitted. You can approve, decline, hold, or remove each item, and choose which approved items are shown publicly. Nothing a visitor submits is public until you approve it.
Who can change the official details?
Only you, the organizer, can edit official facts such as names, dates, and wording. Visitors can contribute tributes and media, but they can never alter the official memorial content.
How do I share the memorial?
Use the Share button on the memorial to copy the link, then send it by WhatsApp, SMS, or email. Anyone with the link can view the public page — no account required.
Is my family's private information safe?
Yes. Private contributor details, contact information you keep private, and any notes for the family are never shown on the public page. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Report a concern
If you see content that should not be on a memorial, or you have a safety or privacy concern, email support@farewellpages.org with the memorial link. We take reports seriously and will respond promptly.
